Have you seen the new PokerPro texas hold em poker tables? The first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about 2 weeks back when I took a quick vacation with my mother to the WinStar Betting house in Oklahoma.

As I anxiously waited for my name to be summoned at the live tables, I observed how the other persons around the PokerPro tables relate with one another. It was very fascinating to say the very least. Since the poker table was computer driven, there were no poker chips to do any chip tricks, no cards to shuffle and the actual live encounter was stagnant. Maybe I was the only one that noticed this, but I did observe the gamblers at the table had a lifeless quality to them. The cause of this might be since there was no human discussion with the dealer, the ambiance was relatively boring and the gamblers looked uninterested. It was nearly as if I was viewing a live variation of a web based texas holdem poker room rather than sitting with warm bodied humans. It was a tiny bit spooky and I kept flashing back to an episode of Star trek and the holodeck malfunctioned.

Since the waiting time for the are living tables for more than an hour, I made a decision to see how the game play was and to understanding this new texas holdem poker gaming technologies. After playing a few hands, I really felt like I was playing at residence. The lack of activity at the table was the primary reason. I prefer to shuffle and stack my chips, and mix my cards around. None of those things are feasible at these computer tables.

Another thing I discovered was how the program dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I played a whole lot of hands in the PokerPro table and noticed that the play was a good deal like an online hold em poker site. That might have been just a coincidence, but I discovered it to be really odd.

Soon after wagering a couple of rounds with this "unique texas holdem poker technology", I decided that the PokerPro tables had been not for me. I’m far better off playing hold em poker on the internet at home and not travel the distance. If WinStar Casino were to acquire rid of the are living poker tables, I think they’d loose a lot of gamblers.
